Patti Caira review for Richard B Garber

Dr. Garber (and his staff) are an amazing group of medical professionals. My nieces and nephew have seen Dr. Garber since birth and he has always been warm, compassionate and accessible. We recently suffered a tragic loss in our family - the father of the kids (who are now teenagers) died, suddenly, of a massive heart attack. The staff at Framingham Pediatrics have been wonderful and truly caring. He even reached out to another family member when he heard of the death of our brother. Our brother always spoke very highly of Dr. Garber, and came to know him over the years since he took the kids to most appointments, as single dad. I can attest that he is a wonderful doctor and we feel fortunate to have him to reach out to during this difficult time.

Had a very uncomfortable attitude Dr Garber he wasn’t taking his time and acknowledging any of our concerns during our talks over the phone or even in our physical appointments very dismissive I wouldn’t put any good recommendations from my own experiences .

Dr. Garber should not be a pediatrician, he is dismissive and has no patience. Very condescending. He’s not an easy doctor to speak to and make you feel comfortable.

Every time we have taken our son there, he has been very dismissive. Dr. Garber never believes my wife when she explains symptoms and is often condescending. He even seems slightly bothered when my son cries during visits (which is normal for a kid his age). The fact that he has years of experience and is one of the only pediatricians with open spots in the Framingham area (people prefer other doctors) says a lot. As a caring father, I would recommend another pediatrician (if you can find an open one in this area).

He saved my daughter's life. He saw symptoms other than what was obvious. It looked like the flu. I've lived all over the country and know that he is the best Pediatrician of anywhere we've been. I don't care if people think he is brash. Maybe brash saves lives and when your child is too young to verbalize the knowledge of a great Doctor is all you can count on!
