Old school doctor with some top notch schooling, education and experience. As with my previous cardiologist, Doctor's modus in treatment is less is more, excepting one on one time of which he is extraordinarily generous and patient.
I have seen Dr.Pechter several times and recommend him unreservedly. He is by far the most thorough and trusting Dr. that I've seen. His staff, echo tech. and receptionist/nurse are experienced and so pleasant.
He was thorough and explained everything carefully. I would recommend him to friends.
As part of a pre-surgical EKG done at Indian River Medical Center, my in network facility, I get a bill from Dr. Pechter, who read my EKG and is out of network. While I am researching this issue, less than two weeks later I get a "Second Notice". Very unprofessional billing practice and poor judgement on IRMC's part to use an out of network doctor, without my knowledge. In addition, there appears to be no option to pay with anything except a check. That's why we have a HSA card.
Been a patient for 22 years. Never waited more than 5 minutes from appointment time. Average visit time for exam and one on in Dr's office 20 to 25 minutes. Referrals for other medical services could not have been better.
