We joined the Y to rehab from health issues and a broken back. While walking the track, (my spouse and I and one other senior) stopped for a minute to say hi to our nephew playing basketball below. We were promptly told "No spectating" from the track. But 5 minutes later we were inundated with 5 children under the age req

The new pink towel system they switched to with the spray bottles is awful. There’s been days when I go for a spray bottle and multiple bottles have dirty towels. Having Y staff periodically go around and swap the towels out sounds like a fool’s errand. There needs to be a system put in place that sorts the clean & dirty spray bottles. This would also help staff be able to know which bottles need the towels replaced. Personally preferred being able to get a clean towel from the front desk. The Y has replaced all the towels for wiping down equipment with germ sharing reusable pink towels attached to squirt bottles - spreading germs from machine to machine! This is a terrible idea! We go every Mon Wed and Fri... makes me sick watching the reuse of towels people use to blow their nose and wipe sweat. Manager said her staff would be on the floor cleaning machines. Durinf the padt 4 werks, we have never seen employee clean machines. Clean up this germ fest!

This place is just so damn sad. After being a member for 20 years. You can just wake up and all of a sudden not be a member with no explanation even though you're on autopay from your bank account and you have thousands of dollars in there. No warning via email or text and no explanation at all.

Employees are always nice and the new remodel is a good improvement, but this place still drives me nuts. I only come here for the weight room and weights are never racked correctly. Id go to any other Y if possible but this location is just too convenient for me, even if it means constant headaches trying to get the weight I need from racks. Pictures 2 and 3 (smith machine area) were added 2 months after the initial review and reply saying it was being looked into. Its a fine gym but be prepared to deal with some annoyances... read more
