Doctor Berger, Thank you for the knee replacement surgery you did on me eleven (11) years ago. I'm glad for the check-ups every 2 years, it keeps me on track. Yes, I do pretty much everything that I did before the knee pain. I try not to skip a beat. Most people that I know don't believe that I've had a knee replacement. Dr. Berger did my knees years ago. I check in occasionally to be sure, his staff is top notch, Midwest Orthopedic (where his practice is located) overall is outstanding. I am fully functional again and have been for at least 6 years because of his work on me.
Dr. Berger and his team replaced my left knee 7 weeks later he revised/repaired my right knee (original knee replaced by another surgeon). I have better mobility and more confidence in both knees than I have had in 15 years.
I am in my second week after full knee replacement for my left knee and feeling great! Only 12 weeks ago I had my right knee replaced and it feels stronger than it has been in 10 years. I can’t wait to get to the finish line with my left knee and truly have life back to the things I enjoy doing, but also just not in constant pain slowing me down in daily activities or sleep. Ran into an old friend on a tennis court and find out Dr. Richard Burger had replaced all of our knees. I am four months postop full replacement. Got my life back dirt biking, golf golfing, and tennis, Can’t wait for ski season.
