We purchased a tandem utility trailer to haul mowers. Had it for six years and the hitch/frame has detached from the body of the trailer. The weld from the hitch/frame was to a THIN piece of the body of the trailer and has completed separated. Called Rice Trailers and they only have a 1 year workmanship/manufacturing warranty. Will NOT buy from Rice Trailers again and will check workmanship on any future trailers we will be purchasing a bit closer.
Be careful buying from this company! I had a brand-new utility trailer, 6 days old with less than 300 miles on it. On the first trip the tailgate came loose and ripped apart dragging behind the trailer. Well where do I start , I bought a 14,000 lb partial tilt trailer about 2 yrs ago. This trailer is pretty much junked out . I gave 6,600 dollars for it first it was brakes then the wiring got pinched in the tilt . Then the lid to the tool box is only pop riveted on they started getting loose then lid wouldn't open , plastic hinges on lid are no good , boards came loose, lights brackets should be stronger, the way the axles are attached to the frame is very weak causing very bad tire wear.Very unsatisfied with the trailer.
