There is nothing worse than when someone sends pictures of the Pad Thai they're eating from 5 hours away! Pure torture! I miss my Aoy's Pad Thai!!!! And Aoy, of course :) xoxoxo
We loved the meals we had from the Rice Paddy! Can't believe that we have missed this place all the years we been coming to the UP but so glad now we have discovered it in the book 53 Things Ya Gotta Do An' See In Da U.P..

Please go see my "girlfriend" Aoy. To know Aoy is to love her, and that she makes great food to boot is only a plus. I just traveled over 4 hours to mow down Aoy's Hot and Sour soup, cream cheese wontons, and ginger chicken. It was all wonderful. Aoy's Hot and Sour soup and cream cheese wontons are as unique as she is and I love that. The wontons had water chestnuts in with the cream cheese mix to provide a little something special and her Hot and Sour soup was not the dark, boring soup you find at most Chinese places.
