As a professional gardener and home gardener, Rice Lake Gardens is my favorite place to buy plants. The wide selection of flowers and veggies, the knowledgeable and friendly staff, the quality of the plants, are all super. The balance between volume, selection, reasonable prices, and the feeling of each plant being cared for while it's growing there makes it worth the easy drive out there.
Outstanding selection of plants at very reasonable prices. At the end of the season, they start giving things away for free. I love this place.

Really wonderful garden/greenhouse; knowledgeable and friendly staff who are willing to answer any questions, even for some of us novice gardeners, and provide suggestions. I've been a customer for 3 years and visit a few times a summer not just to buy plants, but enjoy the experience of Rice Lake Gardens.
