We've recently discovered the Ribeyes Steakhouses in eastern NC and are working our way through the chain. Given we're both steak eaters, the limited menu (rib eyes in your choice of size, plus a few other choices) is not a problem. It's what you come here for. Salad bar to start; vegetables or potato on the side and you can take either back to the salad bar to fix it your way. That's real bacon on the salad bar, by the way. My spouse and I went to Ribeyes for a very special occasion. The food was great and the service was good. Definitely one of the better steak houses in New Bern.

I was actually pleasantly surprised. Very streamlined/basic menu... not too many options. Not alot of side items to choose from... but they do have an ok salad bar. One thing that they "say" they do, is the cook comes and takes your food order... but he never did. I was there for 2 hrs, and didnt see him do it once. I also ordered a Watermelon Martini.... but really didnt taste like it. They def need a better bartender... as the place was dead- but my drink took 15 mins, was weak, and didnt even taste like watermelon. The fo... read more
