Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors – Since 1947, the Riazzi family serves homemade Italian dishes like pizza, gnocchi, lasagna, spaghetti, shrimp scampi, steaks and ribs.
Great food, but service has gone downhill... – I don't understand the reviews that say 'yes' for prompt seating. Are you kidding? I've been going to this place for 10 years. The food has always been sensational. The prices have gone up a bit, but they're still reasonable. However, the most marked decline has been the service. The wait staff continues to be pretty good, but the hostesses are always anti-social at best and their seating methods are highly suspect. Getting a table takes near an hour even if you call ahead. Best little known secret of Phoenix – Riazzis has been a favorite family dining destination for several generations. Their pizza is out of this world and should be considered for the Best of Phoenix. I sold fresh produce to Lucy Riazzi back in the 80s and I will testify that Riazzis is just as particular about the product coming into the restaraunt as they are with what they serve. The secret to success is to have consistancy in a product regardless if it's great good or poor. Their product is great and consistant. They harv... read more
the pie man – the riazzi's family have been making the best italian food for over 50 years.the pizzia is next best thing to real chicago pizzia, even if it is NYstyle pie
Now THAT's Italian!!! – This is the best and most authentic Italian restaurant I've found in the Phoenix area. The homemade Italian sausage is to die for (but make sure you've got some antacids). The pizza is the real thing I grew up with in the Northeast and the homemade spumoni is the perfect way to finish off your meal....if you have room left for it, that is....
Manifica – The schrimp scampi is to die for!! I can't wait to return.
Delicioso!!! – Riazzi's Italian Garden is my all-time favorite Italian Restaurant. I have tried many of their dishes, including the Chicken Cacciatore, Eggplant Parmesan, Orange Roughy, Spaghetti with both their marinara and meat sauces, and pizzas, which are to die for. You can order them on thick or thin crust with toppings of your own choosing, or select from the ones on the menu. They serve an incredible soft Italian bread with a hard crust, and you can request olive oil with garlic to dip it in, at no charge for either ... read more
A little bit of Italy in Tempe – Forget the concept of chain-related Italian joints. This is the real thing. The decor is warm and inviting, the food is operatic. And the prices are surprisingly reasonable, given the posh setting. A family run restaurant, Riazzi's has something for everyone.
Riazzi's Italian Garden has a 4 star rating with 300 reviews.
Riazzi's Italian Garden is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
