She does not like to give refills for inhalers regularly. Anyone who has asthma knows how uncomfortable & inconvenient this would be. I tried calling for a refill & multiple days after called the pharmacy who never received one. I had to sit uncomfortable with breathing difficulties on a weekend even though I called earlier in the week to prevent a situation like that. If refills were automatic, like some doctors are willing to do, I would never have to deal with that type of stress.
Dr. Zimmerman is a really nice primary care doctor. She gives really good dietary advice, like eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and not as many grains, flipping the food pyramid around. The staff in the office are very professional and kind.
