Worst hospital known . Staff is rude and woulnd send my dog there . Horrible rude
Do not go to this hospital. My best friend (32 years old) died in the "care" of Rhode Island Hospital. He would still be with me today if he had gone somewhere else. His care team in COOP was negligent to the point that he passed away. He improved everyday for two weeks in ICU and then 4 days after being downgraded out of ICU to COOP, he was dead. I worked at RIH before any of this happened. They are understaffed and the staff they do have is underpaid and often under qualified. Meanwhile, their CEO John Fernandez makes almo... read more
Cut my shirt off and literally lost the rest of my clothes. No mirrors at all in the room, had to have a flat our fight with the 3rd shift nurse to shower the blood off from my accident. My arms and hands tore up from inexperienced jr staff trying to set lines. No instructions on staples, no mention of them at all. Ultra low rent hospital. Would not recommend or go back given any other option.
I just had a 4- night stay and I can honestly say that there wasn’t one doctor, nurse, CNA, plembologist, Food, delivery, person or janitorial staff that wasn’t Caring, friendly, empathetic, and sympathetic. The team of doctors discovered the issue and corrected it. I believe they saved my life. For this, I will be forever grateful. Shout out to the kidney team, Especially Dr. Arvind!
