Dr.Jamapala told me he didn't trust the positive ANA test, or any of the other positives. He said that none of my levels that were way out of range didn't matter, BECAUSE HE DIDN'T TRUST THE MACHINES. Why make me take blood work test that you already don't believe in? I informed him that there is a spot in my back where the muscle is just gone, and the pressure and pain it is putting on my sciatic nerve is unbearable. I am not really a review person but all of the reviews had me incredibly concerned about my first visits. Well the visit has come and gone and I found it to be a very pleasant and thorough visit. Office staff was cordial. Dr jampala was incredibly kind and asked a ton of questions. He performed a physical exam and sent me for labs. Maybe things used to be different but this was my experience.
I wouldn't come here. He did a single labcorp panel and said that he cannot do anything for me since the lupus test came back negative (regardless of the fact that my ANA had tripled and had a new pattern). He also refused to change the medication that was not working. I was crying from frustration of still not having any answers and being forced to continue to be in excruciating pain and constantly fatigued without a plan or help and he just gave me a tissue, told me that it is a good thing that I "don't have anything" and ... read more
