After literally years of PT and acupuncture and going to a different Pain Mgmt doctor who made me feel like a criminal, I saw a billboard on Hwy 27 for Dr. Black. I asked my VA doctor to put thru a referral, had a tearful chat with VAs Pain Mgmt and finally got the approval to see Dr. Black. 'Dr.'Chelsea kicked me out of pain management because I was in another state 2 days before Thanksgiving picking up a family member for the holidays and couldn't do a surprise pill count that day being I was 600 miles away. While DR. Chase black and his team inside of the facility were beyond amazing in terms of patient care and treatment. The patient registration team directly within the office does not have any customer or patient service skills whatsoever. Due to several scheduling issues such as the system failing to give me a reminder notification automatically of an follow up appointment that I rescheduled multiple times (I didn’t even know what day we finally settled on) I missed that appointment I also didn’t receive a call to confirm m... read more
Patients need to follow up with pharmacy directly on the day of appointment. The auto message that prescription has been submitted doesn’t ensure all information required by federal law to fill the prescription has been written / filled out correctly by prescribing provider. The system for after hours offers zero assistance. The providers are not available for any reason. This was a first time experiencing a written error after hours.
