I had my ordered delivered. The ribs are to-die for, and the cabbage/greens and the mac-n-cheese are both delish. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the bbq chicken, which was the driest I've ever had. That's probably my fault, though, for ordering 15 minutes before they close. I was hoping for whole pieces of chicken, but they serve the breast chunks, which do NOT hold well. The ribs made up for it, though! :)
My family and I came here from Bakersfield. The soul food place we planned to go to close to home was closed. So we came here to eat one celebration for our daughter’s birthday. Family owned very kind, The food was so good. Everything was fresh and delicious. Banana pudding was also good. Great atmosphere. Great people. Definitely recommend.
This place was so delicious me and my mom came in from merced just to try it out and it was worth the drive! Thank you for the great food!
