Dr Saffari was called in to consult when my husband was a patient at West Boca Hospital. I found him to be extremely rude and disrespectful. He asked my husband , who was disoriented at the time, a question, which I answered for him. The Dr looked at me and said, “I didn’t ask YOU!” The disrespect went on and on. I went to the nurses station and asked them not to allow him back to see my husband. The next morning, Dr Saffari came into the room, Woke my husband up, and asked him if he knew his wife had fired him!

Couldn’t provide a diagnosis but billed crazy high amounts. I would not recommend!

Dr. Saffari is one of the most pleasant ,knowledgeable & respectable doctors I have met . He took all the time to explain things like no other Dr has . I highly highly recommend him ***** I cannot understand why some of the reviews are negative I found him to be amazing .

As an inpatient at West Boca Community Hospital, the ER doc ordered a nephrology consult with Reza Saffari. Rude, disrespectful and very creepy. He asked if I was married, divorced, single or separated. I replied I was not married. He persisted and said are you divorced or single. I asked how that was relevant, and he said he was going to leave because he had many other people to see. He then asked me again if I was divorced. I believe he was trying to intimidate me. Creep!

He is the worst! He is arrogant, condescending, and rude. As a doctor, I expected him to speak to me a bit more professionally but perhaps because I’m a woman he didn’t see me as deserving of respect. We will be finding another specialist ASAP. Stay away from him if possible! You and your loved one will be better off with anyone else!

Dr Saffari is a brilliant extremely skilled nephrologist. Unlike some doctors his background in internal medicine allows him to treat the whole person. I highly recommend him. He cares about his patients and will find a way to allow the best quality of life.

I have never met a doctor with such poor bedside manner. He talks at - instead of to - the patient and makes it clear that the only way is his way. I was unfortunate enough to have Dr. Saffari attend at the hospital and because of that my 2-day stay turned into a 5-day stay. He raised his voice if my family or I disagreed with his treatment and he kept asking if I wanted to be on dialysis. A bad experience was made worse. I would never recommend him to anyone.

It is difficult to tell if Dr. Saffari is a physician of any professional merit, since his personality, lack of communication skills, and an extremely short fuse, make it impossible to assess his actual capabilities. He delivers the information he chooses to provide in a tone appropriate for a young childand is extremely defensive; viewing questions as interruptions. He does not return multiple phone calls, even when his office has assured you he will and he is unreilable with appointments

My father is presently under the care of Dr. Saffari and receives dialysis 3 times a week at his facility. My dad is very hard of hearing and is depressed. I have called 3 times to schedule a meeting at his facility to meet with him, the nurse and dietician to see if I can help. He has failed to return any of my calls.
