Dr. Haydon is truly amazing. My son go hurt at his dads on a Monday night and we had to get transferred to Chicago for surgery in the middle of the night. Dr. haydon is super nice and caring , explained everything so perfectly and answered all my questions. When following up he remembered my son wanting a black cast ( they didn’t have any at the hospital) but when we went for post op to get recasted we did not have to mention it because he already had black waiting for my son
Dr. Haydon himself was great. I would give him 5 stars all day long. The reason for my review is the billing department. I have called them 7 times in 3 weeks to get my claim switched. The only result I've received is the run around. They are now transferring me to a department that only is an automated system. One of the billing agents told me there's no reason they should have filed my claim as an outpatient instead of a specialist claim. That mistake is now costing me $700 plus dollars. An extremely bad experience, him and all his team. I do not recommend seeing this doctor at all.
Poor communication
I describe Rex Haydon as an outstanding physician. For me, "physician" sets him on a higher plane than "doctor". His expertise exceeds mastery of the MD vocabulary. He was exquisitely attentive to my verbal and physical "presentation". He affirmed my internist's opinion and suggested an MRI as the best way to rule out malignancy. A week later, immediately after the MRI, my concerns evaporated. He showed me the MRI and explained exactly what he saw in a way that I could understand.
