Wait times are ALWAYS an hour or more. My daughter sat for 4 hours, became very agitated and panicky so she left. They new she was there and she had approached the office staff several times and they still charged $75 for a "missed appointment". Never again!
If I had the choice to switch doctors I would have and would most definitely NOT recommend this doctor to anyone. I never once was able to see Birkmire, only his PAs. The staff was rude for the most part, and they changed their system so now you can't call them on the phone about anything, not even emergencies or medication issues - you have to use their online system and hope they get back to you soon enough. I have been under Dr. Birkmire's care since his office was on Dodd Rd. and couldn't ask for a better Doctor. He is a very intelligent man with alot of experience and full of knowledge. But what keeps me coming back to him despite his major staffing issues /Admin-office issues is that he acts like a normal human, he doesn't have the typical doctor "God Complex" attitude. Having known many clinicians throughout my lifetime, I can honestly say Dr. Rex Birkmire is perhaps the best in his field. Things were out of control in my life and I wasn't able to get relief from other doctors. This good doctor was able to diagnose my problem in fairly short order and prescribe the right treatment and medication, which has enabled me to take control of my life again. I am forever thankful to Dr. Birkmire and have and will continue to refer people to his practice. Don L.

This is the best doctor I have ever seen he has helped me so much. I would recommend anyone seeing him. I am definitely going back and all the staff is wonderful kind and courteous no one makes you wait.
