I have been seeing Dr Althaus since 2019, after developing BII and having a subsequent explant. BII triggered a cascade of nervous and autoimmune-type symptoms that were overlooked by a rhumotolgist, a hand specialist, hosptial-affiliated primary care physicians, physical therapists, a physiatrist, a neurologist and two naturopathic providers. Dr Althaus is the best. She listens, asks great questions, and always follows through. She explains the lab results, what they mean, and the best way forward with optimizing my health. And i get to see the doctor who knows me and my issues every time i need one!
