Best and most delicately prepared kale salad I've ever had. Being born in Berkeley, I could taste the essence of the earth that is in the food since it's all locally grown (as a vegetarian!). Also I indulged in the mezcal old fashioned- watched the bartender make it with the precision of a musician.
My wife and I ate here last night -- we both had the seared scallops with salmon roe with a glass of sparkling pinot noir rosé. It was amazing! The dish was plated over a almond hummus and accented with shaved pickled kumquat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Favorite thing I've eaten in memory. I had intended to take a photo, as the dish was gorgeous, but as it was served, I totally forgot. By the time I had considered it, the plate was empty ;-(
BEST table is at the kitchen window! We love watching the process, then eating the fantastic food. Excellent bar with unique cocktails. Professional and super friendly staff.

Just love this place. Awesome drinks and really well prepared food to go with it all. You can tell the owner of this wonderful place cares. Wine list is extensive and delicious. Im vegetarian and there are always options for me.
The food was amazing, the staff were very sweet, but the service was pretty slow in the section we were at. I would still go back for the food in a heartbeat.
Worth the splurge; everything was delicious and presented well. Could add a few more calamari rings though.
