I am so frustrated with my experience at Urgent care. I came in on a Saturday to get a test for a potential infection. It has been almost 6 days with no results. I called several days in to inquire about my results, and was told that they have a lab ACROSS the country that they have to send it to for results. And it will be more time. Staff is very friendly and professional
horrible. they take no responsibility for misdiagnosis or not testing for something they should have. the medicial assistants take all day to respond. have to call over 15 times to get someone on the phone. they offer no solutions to errors in care and expect you to know which tests to ask for.
Very disappointing visit with the male urgent care doctor on 1/24. He refused to run any tests for cold, flu, or COVID and simply said he “knew what it was” without confirming anything. That’s not acceptable medical care. Patients come to urgent care for proper evaluation, not assumptions. If I’m requesting reasonable diagnostic testing, it should be taken seriously. Our insurance pays for a service, and patients deserve to be listened to and treated with respect. I left feeling dismissed and unheard.
