I fell 7/23 and had surgery (repair Femur). I needed extensive physical therapy. My case worker at the hospital recommended Reunion. I was transferred there on Friday 7/26 about 3pm. A CNA was in my room to greet me. It took about another hour before the nurse came in. She asked general questions and then left saying "dinner is 5pm." I didn't see anyone else that evening other than the CNA who would escort me to the bathroom. Dinner did come at 5pm-Fish Sticks, coleslaw and tarter sauce in plastic packets. Our family had an excellent experience at Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital in Inverness. The entire staff was fabulous in accommodating my father’s needs and working with him to get stronger and ready to go home. They consistently went above and beyond the call of duty, not only in his care but also in their communication with us. This is a great place for rehabilitation, when I first arrived at Reunion I thought the place was unorganized there were so many moving parts I was so confused on why I was there and thought I didn’t need therapy and then came Alana for speech therapy who, with her calm and steady demeanor explained everything to me about the process and why I needed speech, occupational and physical therapy. I was involved in a very serious car accident that left me with multiple broken bones and other fun problems. I was frankly very concerned as I was being transferred from Parker Adventist to Reunion. I was in a lot of pain, and some other embarrassing issues.. Regardless, I arrived at Reunion in the evening hours. My room was all ready, and they had left some dinner and snacks put out, since it was after hours. The Nurse and CNA came in.
