I taste this practice a 3 because I really like Dr Boatright. He is straight forward. If you're looking for a Dr who is personable and holds a conversation with you, he's not your guy. I think he is a great doctor though. The practice, that's another story. I waited in the waiting room for 25 minutes past my appointment time when I walked to the desk to ask how much longer it would be, a few minutes I was told. 10 minutes later I was taken to the back to an exam room. I’ve been a patient of Dr Reuben for a number of years. He and his staff are always very professional and incredibly courteous. I can’t say enough good things as to how amazing they have been. I feel blessed to have access to them when I need their help. They have been life changing in the most amazing way! I would highly recommend them to anyone dealing with a back issue.
This would be zero stars if google allowed it. I Was referred to Dr boatwright by my primary care. He looks at the X-rays and says he can’t help me and refers me to neurology for injections. When it comes time for the appointment with neurology, they say, “we’re not certified for that kind of treatment” - giant waste of time and money. -And when I try to follow up with his office- they won’t answer the phone and won’t return my messages. Don’t come here- go to Charleston or Savannah
Dr. Boatright performed my surgery in December of 2024 to remove a synovial cyst that was pressing on the L4 nerve, and causing issues with my back and left leg. His office team, surgical team, and the dedicated staff at Hilton Head Hospital were fantastic. Five months later, I am back to my active lifestyle including hiking and golf. Dr. Boatright is not only an outstanding surgeon, but he is also compassionate, and has genuinely cared about me as his patient. Thank you, Dr. Boatright!
Excellent care. My back surgery was great...did not experience pain.
