I will never make the mistake of doing business with Reuben Borg Fence again. We contracted them to construct two fences on our property, and the work is completely unacceptable. Among my complaints are: 1. The use of poor quality and/or damaged wood. 2. Unfinished wood that was never properly sanded. 3. Structural portions of the fences were severely deficit and not put into place properly. 4. I cannot say enough to warn people from using Reuben Borg Fence company. They are the most unprofessional, inconsiderate hacks I have ever seen. I have used many residential contractors over the years, and Reuben Borg Fence is by far the worst! With the late start times, not showing up, not returning phone calls, destroying personal property, stealing personal property, and simply not communicating with the customer or their own workers, I would rank this company a quarter star if it were possible. I hope that if you are considering using **** for your fencing needs you take this review into consideration before signing a contract with them. **** not only made an absolute mess of the project but I was treated as a customer with utter disrespect and disregard when addressing my concerns. I have been a contractor for over 25 years and have built many fences in my day, but I am now in my 60’s and decided to use an outside fencing company to rebuild the entire fence separating my neighbors yard and mine. I had a privacy issue with the "Good Neighbor" fence built by ****** **** Fence Co. (Borg). Borg's design turned out to be much more open than the fence it replaced and was significantly less private. After some discussion **** agreed to modify the fence at no charge; which I thought was very reasonable; A+ rating so far. Unfortunately my neighbor decided she was unhappy with the condition of her garden after the installation and wanted no more work done on the fence.
