I’ve been meeting with my therapist, Taylor, for over a year. It has been beyond helpful. I had had some trauma therapy before, and that did help, but I still had residual issues. Doing EMDR therapy with Taylor really helped. I look back at all the things I used to be afraid of, and I can really see progress. She met me where I was at and allowed me to progress as I was willing. She challenged thoughts in sessions but was never judgmental. If less than one star were possible it would be here. If you need any kind of mental health help do not I repeat do not expose yourself to Jennifer Strickland in any way shape or form. All the work and progress that I had made up to this point she basically shattered within four visits. As I was crying she was laughing at me I've never seen such inhumane treatment from a medical provider in my life and I hope to God I never do again. Do yourself a favor search elsewhere
My experience with the provider at this clinic was one of the most emotionally unsafe encounters I’ve ever had in a mental health setting. I left feeling completely invalidated, shamed, and deeply distressed.
My therapist was great, I miss her. Yet, I have C-PSTD. EDMR therapy made my symptoms much much worse WITHOUT helping me.
I absolutely love my therapist! That's why this a two start rating. But when talking to the office ladies about payment that I owed, they told me I was being avoidant and wasnt answering phone calls that I wasn't receiving. I was the one to have called them to discuss the matter, not the other way around. They told me I was unwilling to talk about the situation (again i initiated this conversation) and that copays are due when I walk in.
