They have the most knowledgeable staff that you can ask for! Highly recommend! The building and the staff make you feel comfortable, and the nurse practitioner actually listens to what YOU need. I won’t be going anywhere else!
My experience with the provider at this clinic was one of the most emotionally unsafe encounters I’ve ever had in a mental health setting. I left feeling completely invalidated, shamed, and deeply distressed. She will continue to get reviews like this until she stops practicing or stops mistreating patients. Went for initial mental health evaluation and medication initiation. There was a misunderstanding in the medication regimen, so i didnt take it as directed. The doctor didn't believe me when I told her the medications make me feel wierd. She tried to tell me I didn't feel a med after 48 weeks and no way it made me feel weird. I also told her the meds were making me pee blood. My pcp checked everything out, which was fine. They said that is a side effect of the new med. I’ve been meeting with my therapist, Taylor, for over a year. It has been beyond helpful. I had had some trauma therapy before, and that did help, but I still had residual issues. Doing EMDR therapy with Taylor really helped. I look back at all the things I used to be afraid of, and I can really see progress. She met me where I was at and allowed me to progress as I was willing. She challenged thoughts in sessions but was never judgmental.
