Came out worse
This closing couldn't have happened to a better place. For years I have advocated against this place. I went there in complete crisis and now I work in the recovery industry and have openly advocated not to send people there. They took in hundreds of patients in crisis for whom they couldn't care properly. They had untrained unethical staff who openly shamed patients in front of other patients. Unfortunate that this facility suddenly closed because this place saved my life. I went in 2023 for mental health and was admitted for mental health and I was VERY hesitant about going but the more I was there, the more comfortable I was thanks to the other patients and my therapist Ally.
