Within 10 minutes of checking into our rental, our beloved dog was killed. This dangerous property had a very steep drop off to a sidewalk and 4 lane road. Our sweet dog did not realize and tumbled off and was struck and killed by a passing car. I contacted Retreat Myrtle Beach requesting they put up a barrier there because I would not want this to happen to anyone else’s dog or child. They said that it would NOT be done. We rented Seaside Cottage 2 (the upper unit of a duplex) and it was infested with cockroaches – we found dozens of live roaches, most of which were juveniles and several nymphs; the roaches were also being active during the daytime and when people were around. Roaches were crawling in and out of the cracks in the kitchen table while we were eating at it. The rental company, Retreat Myrtle Beach, did not make much of an attempt to remedy the situation. We have been renting a house from the wonderful friendly and helpful people of Retreat MB for the past 10-11 years and would not consider renting from anyone else. They are very accommodating and attentive to all our requests. We have found the accommodations to always be clean and well kept and pet friendly and accommodating for large groups. You will have a very satisfying experience renting from them and we highly recommend you do so.
Our last visit in October was great. Jeanne was very helpful and answered all our questions quickly. The property was ready on time as promised. Our condo has everything you need to feel at home with plenty of space. And the views are breathtaking! We look forward to many returns to North Myrtle Beach. Chris & Cheryl.
We absolutely love renting through Retreat Myrtle Beach. The customer service you receive is the best. They treat you like they have know you forever. We absolutely love the rental unit we rent every year and will not use anyone else but them.
All of the staff was very helpful for our trip. The home we stayed in, Cyprus Inn, was extremely nice. Overall was one of the best vacations my family has ever been on. Chris is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He went above and beyond expectations to make our time great.
The Sweetwater Inn is spectacular! Every single amenity that you could ask for (pool, hot tub, pool table, 2 balconies, etc), and just a short walk across the street to the beach.
