This is going to be a somewhat comprehensive review of our experience with Retreat at Union Square. First of all, we have been living here for about a year now and just got the lease renewal, we were pleasently surprised. It's clear that this apartment complex values retaining tenants, which in of itself is something that sets itself apart from many others out there. The apartments are very nice. The grounds are professionally maintained. The maintenance staff and office staff are quick to respond to tenant needs. It is a great community
Management is professional and residents are taken care of fairly and efficiently.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE company and even worse management. The girls in the office are as dumb as rocks. I really liked it at first, nice amenities and looks good but it’s built very cheap and they completely took advantage of us once we moved out. We had a few marks on the wall or a few stains and they decided it needed an “entire paint job, carpet replacement, and deep clean” and everything they could find to upcharge us.
