My mother has been in Shepherd Terrace for 4 years . She is a very old Chinese lady, despite she doesn’t speak English at all, by the body gestures , she has high respect and care from all the staffs. The cleanliness of the facilities is super and the Social Activity coordinator Vivian is trying her best for the programming and always has a smile in her face.
My Mom lived here for over 30 years. She loved it. I was so grateful for the care she had there. She made lots of friends with staff and residents. Grateful for all the support.
Wanna see an actual happy retirement home? Visit this place. Apart from my grandmother who lives there, I personally know a bunch of other residents from before they decided to move in. None have anything negative to say. They love the place. My grandmother calls it her all-inclusive resort. There are daily planned activities and the meals are decent quality. Most importantly, it’s a friendly place - residents and employees. Not quite sure of the exact affiliation, but I know it’s connected to the Pentecostal Church.
