3 days after hurricane Helena, I suddenly lost vision in my Right eye. I was a basket case! As an RN I knew that the longer it took to be seen the less likely I would regain my eyesight. When I first met Dr Poley it had been a week since the vision loss due to the whole csra shut down. This perhaps is the best eye surgeon I have ever had in 68 years! In December 2025, I had a detached right retina. The Eye Guys recommended RISE to me and got me an appointment the next morning. Dr. Poley was very thorough in her initial exam and came back with surgery is required. The surgery was scheduled and completed flawlessly. Dr. Poley is an incredible doctor and saved my father’s vision (and his life). If you ever have any vision needs, this is the pace to go.
The staff as a whole are professional and, when communicating with you, actually listen to and focus on you. If you have a question they do not have an answer for, they will inform you directly rather than dancing around it and try to find the information. Dr. Preeti is the same.
