This place is terrible and very unprofessional. The wait is ridiculous. I had a 2pm appointment and left at 5pm which is ridiculous. On top of that Dr. Uchiyoma failed to take his time and thoroughly analyze the condition on my eyes. He said there was nothing wrong with my eyes. I had to go to a second option to find out thay because of the preeclampsia that I suffered from while I was pregnant there was dmanage dont to my eyes blood vessels. I made an appointment with Retina Group and was advised of the $300 upfront fee and that $175 might be requested for additional tests that might occur - this is the new patient fee and self-pay. I even received a GOOD FAITH estimate email from the Retina Group advising that there may be additional costs. I went to the Hollywood Office today for my appointment with the only opthamologist there - Dr. Mario de la Cid. I absolutely love the care that Dr. DelCid provide to me. My vision was improving. He did excellent work. But his staff need serious training.

Dr.Uchiyama is amazing. A true professional and actually cares about the wellbeing of his patients which is rare in today’s health care system. I was impressed with his displays of critical thinking as he help diagnose another health issue with my blood pressure. As a result from typhus I’m feeling so much better. He is a true professional is even aspect and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

be very careful if your at an age preparing to migrate to Medicare. I was referred by my cataract surgeon due to complications. I saw Dr. Anagnoste for about 8 months regadring a retinal issue Last month I cancelled my BlueCross health insurance since I was migrating to Medicare . I had an appointment for July 30th and received a call today that they don't accept Medicare. They told me I would have to find an opthamalogist and get a referral to continue seeing Dr. Anagnoste.
