Dr .Tang just reexamined me to today after 6 years of close monitoring through the years of my right eye of which this exceptional retina specialist performed a reattachment procedure . I have only one eye and was on the verge of going completely blind. Since Dr.Tangs initial surgery, I have received my commercial driving license and currently working is a professional driver. Dr Tang is treating my Diabetic Macular Edema condition. I have had shots and laser surgery. He does an awesome job. His staff is amazing. Dr Tang can be abrupt but his treatment is the best in the area. Do you want a really nice Dr who is warm and fuzzy or a Dr that KNOWS his stuff? I will take the Dr that KNOWS what they are doing every time when it comes to my health and vision. Thank You Dr Tang.
Lots of complaints about the wait time, but I thought it was reasonable. My experience was sign in -> wait 15m -> dilate eyes -> wait 15m -> get eye pictures taken -> wait 15m -> see Dr Tang. No complaints. I found the waiting room comfortable, but some might want a light jacket if they get cold easily.
I have been very pleased with Dr Tang and his staff. The outcome of surgery and pre and post care have been great. Very honest and spends the time with his patients. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, and I travel over an hour for appointments.
I visited my regular eye doctor for a routine visit two days ago. She discovered a tear and within an hour I was over at Dr Tang’s office, which was about ten miles away. Detached retina, I was in surgery three hours later. Dr Tang was so nice, kind gentile, personable and sweet. He called that evening to see how I was doing. The next day at my follow-up he even lent me his personal vintage safety glasses! Dr Tang is the man!
