I was very nervous at the prospect of a human cutting into my eyeball and messing with my retina. Dr. Wee and his staff were awesome. My "white coat" blood pressure was a bit elevated at the beginning and low normal after the process. My right eye is more efficient now then my "good" left one!! Could not be happier.

Dr. Wee basically killed my eye. I went in for a relatively minor issue and because of his lack of interest in helping, his poor skills as a surgeon and poor communication skills, the small issue became a major one- a retinal detachment and then eye death. He performed two surgeries, neither of which was successful, and at the end he said that I should just "get used" to not having vision in my left eye. My eye is now dead (phthisis bulbi). Dr. Wee is the best! I rushed over from another island with a detached retina, he stayed open until I got there. He added me into his surgery hours since I needed emergent surgery. I asked him won’t you be tired by the time you get to me? He answered “I will be at my peak performance by then!” Love him! He made me feel comfortable, important and well cared for during a stressful time. And the most important thing is - he saved my vision.
