Retina Consultants of Hawaii exceeded my expectations during their diagnosis and treatment of my optic nerve vision condition. The staff and ophthalmologists at the clinic were very nice, compassionate, gentle, yet professional throughout my exam. I am coming back. Highly recommended. Very pleased to be able to post the first positive review on Google. 5 Stars!
Dr. Wee basically killed my eye. I went in for a relatively minor issue and because of his lack of interest in helping, his poor skills as a surgeon and poor communication skills, the small issue became a major one- a retinal detachment and then eye death. He performed two surgeries, neither of which was successful, and at the end he said that I should just "get used" to not having vision in my left eye. My eye is now dead (phthisis bulbi).
