Find another facility, please, especially if your loved one is elderly. My mother's first week at this facility landed her into the ICU at Athens Limestone Hospital. She was there to regain her strength and mobility. Because the Nurse Practitioner "made a judgement call", as the regional administrator stated, to not have her urine tested for infection, she became septic with the infection that was indeed present in her urine. DO NOT send your loved ones here if they have cognitive issues and cannot advocate for themselves. My mother was there to rehab a broken leg. She is 80 yrs old with dementia. She was non weight bearing on her broken leg. Her FIRST and ONLY night there, she was not able to call for help to go to the restroom because her call button was broken. No one was checking on her. This is a clean, modern facility with a competent and caring staff. The physical therapy is excellent. The food is delicious.

Disclaimer: I never met any of the employees prior to my stay here. The Restore Therapy group of physical and speech therapists were all caring and professional. They provided therapy seven days a week to include holidays. After major surgery with all the tubes removed the speech therapists taught me how to eat and think correctly without choking. The large therapy room allowed me to work out over an hour a day. There were also a series of simple exercises to restore my confidence in standing, walking and climbing stairs. Ve... read more
