Restoration Timber provided pre-finished oak flooring for our home. Within 3 years the finish began to fail, with splotches appearing in many areas. Mike Wilson, owner of Restoration, refused to assume any responsibility for the finish failing, saying it had to be due to something we did. We do not walk on our floor in shoes, traffic is very light, and we only have used mild floor care products. So we believe the problem was in how the original finish was applied by the factory.
