The counselors themselves are good. However, I was sick with the flu and unable to make an appointment. The cancellation policy requires 24-hours notice but I was unable to give this as I fell ill the day of my appointment. I can understand if someone is consistently missing appointments or something, charging them a late fee. But for a regular, reliable client, to charge me $40 for being sick with the flu is absolutely absurd and a petty cash grab. We brought our 5 yr old daughter to the child therapists team at RHMS. The intent was to make her more mentally resilient. Sadly we were not happy with the outcome. The child therapist Stephanie Sharp was qualifying as a psychotherapist at the time. Maybe she got better but we will not take our daughter to her, for the reason that we voluntarily brought our daughter, paying money out of our own pocket for her to call Children Aid Society (CAS) on us.
