Reston Glass just finished a job for me replacing a series of very large custom windows in a difficult environment (special custom building). The installer were knowledgable, neat, timely AND their attention to detail was amazing. The trim work, joints and caulking were perfect. The job looks AMAZING ! Thank you ! I would recommend them anytime.
When they actually show up they are great, going on 2 cancelations so far for a 10 minute job. To be fair the 3rd time there was something wrong on my end when they showed up and they let me take care of it to make the install go better for longer and didn't charge me for the drive out to tell me that so that was kind of them. We are on one show up where they weren't prepared and had to reschedule, one where I had to fix an issue,and a third other cancellation by them for not having enough people that day. We are very pleased with our window-glass replacement. Reston Glass was very accommodating and suggested we bring in the bad window for measurement and repair to avoid the service-call cost. We had no idea that that window could be removed or how to do it, but we were given clear and simple instructions over the phone. We inquired about upgrading the glass and window frame, but Reston Glass told we had the most efficient available (even though they are about 20 years old). Honesty wins. Avoid at all costs. The owner Jacob is rude. Doesn’t stand by his 10 year warranty. Last year, June 2018 we had 3 broken windows replaced. They were competitive on price and we accepted the quote even though they were slightly rude on the phone. We’ll wither the recent temperature swings one of the windows broke as a result of not being properly cut for the frame. There was not enough exspansion room left and it broke. We called and told them the problem, they said they would need to come out and look at the window to know i... read more
