I was very disappointed to see a 3% credit card processing fee added to my copayment. I understand that some small businesses may charge a credit card service fee, but I was surprised to encounter this at a professional medical office. I have visited many doctors’ offices and have never been charged an additional fee simply for paying my copayment by credit card. This was unexpected and negatively affected my overall experience.
