A cozy European style Bistro, circa 1942, in the historic Davidson Icehouse South Main St District. In business since 2007, family owned serving small but tasty eclectic menus of American and International dishes all made from scratch. Lunch and Dinner served Tuesday through Saturday with Brunch on Saturday and Sunday (9-30 to 2-30). Closed Monday.

Excellent, fresh food! Whenever we want to feel like we're actually eating healthy food when we go out to eat, we choose Restaurant X. The food is fresh, and it doesn't all seem like it was cooked in fat. The place is very small, and the owners are very nice. They are very accommodating. The best part, though, is the FABULOUS desserts!
Good Place, Bad Name The name sort of turned me off of this restaurant, but by the time we left, I loved it! Very good food, served piping hot in quick time frame. Our waiter was terrifc and the prices were not too bad at all. I think we will definitely be going back!
Great food! My favorite here is the shrimp & grits. And I'm not even a big seafood lover! The waitstaff is great and if the owners are there, they usually stop to say hi and chat. Don't miss the Banoffie Pie for dessert!!
Great neighborhood restaurant! Visiting from NYC, we went here at the suggestion of my mother and her husband who had been here once before (they just moved here). The owner's wife recognized my mom and her husband right away, was quite friendly, as was the waitress who also recalled their last meal there. Lamb shank was exceptionally tender and flavorful. Tilapia was outstanding in being cooked perfectly through. Mushroom risotto had a beautiful, delicate taste.
