My favorite restaurant, period. I am 57 years old and have been eating here since it opened in 1973. Never have had a bad experience and have always enjoyed whatever I have ordered. I have introduced hundreds of people to this restaurant over the years. Drove up from San Diego yesterday with my lady friend and my dog, sat on the patio and enjoyed beautiful weather, a beautiful view and a great meal. Thanks 'Gnome.
We had the calamari appetizer which was excellent. It melted in your mouth. The sausage pasta and beef dip sandwich were very tasty and perfectly cooked. Will definitely repeat the next time we're in Idyllwild.
Love the patio there and the food is always great. Especially like bringing my best buddy..."Beau" with me. Drove up from the desert just to have lunch and enjoy the cool breezes �
