Attitudes of some of the employees, especially the hr lady, the Attitude is terrible, I shop ther alot for our food trucks, im.not putting up with the bs anymore, now us chef store on meeting st. I never had a problem there, that's where I'm going now for my product.
I don't know who needs to know this, but here goes. They are not wholesale food, they are resale just a notch over retail. I don't understand why you don't get produce from a produce company, they deliver. And meat from a meat company, they deliver too. And I am certain that Hobart and other restaurant machine manufacturers are still in business and you can buy directly from them for less. This place buys from them. So by dealing with them you are making a middleman...... Let that sink in😎
I hardly ever write reviews but The only good thing about this place is the prices on SOME products, others you can actually get cheaper at Costco. You pay the difference in attitudes you have to deal with from the floor associates to the cashiers. It is 1/29 @ 11:12am and I'm actually sitting in front of The Restaurant Depot. Wants to pay their temps $12 to $14 an hr and expects a lot. Rates not competitive with Charleston market. One lady in there when i was deep cleaning said "dont you have something more priority than cleaning the walls?" Detail work is needed there and they only want to pay but 12 an hr for it.. as Lead Market Detailer in past i was making several dollars per hr for job i was doing here.
