I had accepted a job back in August with RMC, and put in my two weeks with my current employer. It wasn't until a week later that I heard from a friend that RMC had lost the contract. That would mean that after beginning work with RMC I would be let go after 6 weeks. CEO gave bad information to employees 6 months prior to contract end/extension just to retain them for as long as possible. He spoke for almost an hour explaining to the team why we are all good and no one should leave for other jobs. Even if there were an issue they’d have no problem relocating us. I was on short term disability and they terminated my employment because they wouldn't wait a week for my doctor to release me to work. Seems illegal, definitely not how employees would be treated while struggling with health issues ( that my doctor will state was caused by their hostile environment....
