Absolutely the most unprofessional business I have ever done business with. If you chose to use this company please read the reviews beforehand, we actually did and before ever booking asked if the elevator issue was fixed and we were told absolutely no issues. We arrived to the Gulf House condo and surprise no working elevator. We were on the 6th floor with luggage, babies, a recent ankle surgery and 2 elders leaving some unable to club the stairs. We called every number we had even the emergency number and no calls were an... read more

************* is not a registered guest with our company. She is not on any lease or any documents with our company. She has no standing to request anything from us or the better business bureau. She got quite angry when we told her that we needed to speak only with *****************, the legal lessee. I have a hard time writing a rebuttal to this because it is virtually all fiction. The only fact in her diatribe is that the elevator quit working and that we did give her compensation. I will give you some bullet points so t... read more
We checked in at Resort Quest with 3 families at Pensacola Beach. The girl at the counter said they only had us until a Friday morning when our reservation was until Saturday morning. She checked into it and said they made a mistake and double booked us and she would have to refund our money for the extra night. We obviously told her that we had been planning this for over a year and we had nowhere to go at the last minute with all these people but she again said we can't let you stay in the unit. We then, on our own, called... read more

Our Area General Manager reached out to this guest and has addressed all concerns with them personally. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
When we opened the door at Surfside **** a sour smell reminiscent of dried vomit®engulfed us. A quick inspection revealed that it originated from the couches and the rugs. They, like everything in this unit, are well used and poorly taken care of. We contacted the ResortQuest and they said they would send house cleaning to take care of the smell. House cleaning did not show up, so to manage the smell we had to put the couch cushions and slips on the deck as it would not be possible to stay in here with that odor. We call... read more

Our Executive General Manager has contacted Mr. Hurst to address his concerns and also followed-up with an email to ensure everything has been resolved to their satisfaction. Thank you.
Rented through Relax on the Beach... $8000 rental. Arrived and loaded fridge with food for a week with 21 total people..13 grandkids..lots of milk and fresh fish and meat. Next AM at crack of dawn, milk warm, fish spoiled. Called Emergency Line. No answer and no prompt return call. Things are kinda getting stinky!
Business response:
Maintenance went to the home first thing Sunday morning, the 17th. The guest had the fridge set at the zero setting, which meant the fridge was not cooling at all. Maintenance returned the setting for the fridge to the correct temperature and the fridge began cooling properly. He then complained that the fridge was not cooling fast enough and we informed him that it would take a while for the fridge to completely cool all of the warm food. We then called the guest early in the afternoon and he said that everything was fine.
We have a trip booked and the pictures depict that there is an oceanfront bedroom after relooking and reading the listing thet unit indeed does not have a oceanfront bedroom. However all the units they have depict this. I have reached out via email and have called I can upgrade for $102 more to get what is actually portrayed in the pictures. They aren't willing to make this right and it's false advertising.
**RENTERS BEWARE** my family and I had a miserable experience with Relax on the Beach. I should have done more research before booking with them-"a $6,117.50 learned the hard way experience." Here's what I wished I knew before booking with them: 1. Read their Facebook reviews- there is consistent complaints of unprofessionalism with customer service and cleanliness/maintenance upkeep of their rental properties. 2. Read and Re-read their Rental Agreement- especially the section regarding REFUNDS- There is a little blurb about... read more

We're so sorry you didn't enjoy your brief stay in Gulf Shores. But here are the facts: 1) You booked the house months in advance and we held it for you. 2) Our contract clearly states that we will make every effort to have the house ready for check in at 4pm. There are, however, situations that occur beyond our control, which may delay your check in. Your check in occurred over Hangout Festival weekend. The cleaners were running behind schedule and were not able to have your house ready by 4pm. 3) We met you at the prope... read more
If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I booked a condo in downtown Charleston, South Carolina on April 6, 2017 and paid the first portion of the total amount. I received a confirmation e-mail that same day. I then received an e-mail requesting the second portion of the payment on June 12th (about a month prior to our stay) and I paid it in full. So, I was under the impression everything was processed considering I had paid this company a PRETTY PENNY to stay at their condo. On July 8th (just 6 days before I was s... read more

To Whom It May Concern: After looking over the review of Walk Away Stays that was posted on July 22nd, 2017 I am concerned because it seems as though our company did everything possible to try to reconcile the situation. With managing over 80 properties and utilizing multiple 3rd party booking websites, double bookings unfortunately occur occasionally. When this situation happens, our staff quickly provides the guest with options to move to best fit their needs. We have successfully resolved these situations numerous times. ... read more
We closed in Feb. 2017, worst experience ever, Tula Tucker agent for RESORT Quest was so unprofessional and rude, never gave us any info on the condos, we had no internet passwords, no gate passwords, we were told we got two gate remotes , only one was left, she explained nothing to us, the minute it closed we never heard from her , WORST AGENT EVER,
Business response:
We value the feedback and have communicated with both parties involved; we feel that all concerns and misunderstandings were addressed accordingly.
I booked a stay October 10-14th, 2016, which was the week that Hurricane Matthew affected the East Coast. I contacted them as soon as it was determined Charleston was going to be affected. They were understandably unable to provide information early in the week. When I contacted them on Friday, October 7th, their offices had been evacuated. I was finally contacted mid-Saturday by someone who was evacuated to another city, and unable to verify the status of the property. I indicated at that time we were canceling unless somet... read more
