Booked Azure in Okaloosa Island Fl in December 2019 from 5-15 to 5-22 with Wyndham. Recently the governor banned beach rentals due to Covid-19 Until the 19th. Wyndham is refusing to refund payment on a stay they CAN NOT honor. Offered a credit on future stay! I've rented from this company for over 20 years.... never again!
Confirmed reservation #307525 placed and secured with deposit on 2/1/2020 for Palm Beach Club 7/8-7/12 for the PCB Air Show. Yesterday, 88 days later I get phone call as a notification lands in my in box showing my reservation has been cancelled and they have moved me to another property that is considered an Upgrade at no additional cost. A National Emergency has been declared and we are experiencing a Pandemic. My home state has been restricted from traveling to FL and we have had to cancel our kids wedding due to all of this. You would think that they would make some allowances but they refuse to give us any kind of monetary refund. Due to loss of income for who knows how long we are not able to book some future vacation. I was supposed to have a trip to Pensacola for the weekend on April 24th that cost $600 and tried to cancel today in light of the new Shelter in Place Order. Guess what--NO REFUND!!! I don't usually complain especially on FB, but this is WRONG!!!! They are taking advantage of people who have no control over the situation. Worst business I have ever dealt with. Bait and switch tactics used on internet. Unit 3106 at Inn at Gulf Place had Outdoor furniture inside unit because outside was being renovated. Could not move dusty, dirty furniture outside per orders of HOA. We could not move around in unit. They moved us to another unit. Gabriella was awesome in solving this problem and the problem we had in the other unit.
ResortQuest offers up to a 30% discount during the winter months in parts of northern Fla. What they don't disclose is they raise the rates just before they offer the discount.
We checked in at Resort Quest with 3 families at Pensacola Beach. The girl at the counter said they only had us until a Friday morning when our reservation was until Saturday morning. She checked into it and said they made a mistake and double booked us and she would have to refund our money for the extra night. We obviously told her that we had been planning this for over a year and we had nowhere to go at the last minute with all these people but she again said we can't let you stay in the unit. When we opened the door at Surfside **** a sour smell reminiscent of dried vomit�®engulfed us. A quick inspection revealed that it originated from the couches and the rugs. They, like everything in this unit, are well used and poorly taken care of. We contacted the ResortQuest and they said they would send house cleaning to take care of the smell. House cleaning did not show up, so to manage the smell we had to put the couch cushions and slips on the deck as it would not be possible to stay in here with that odor. We call... read more
