Booked a unit through Vacasa who I had never used before. Unit said remodeled. It was terrible. Furniture uncomfortable and shower so tiny an adult couldn’t get into it. Windsor Place Unit 205. Pool needs resurfacing desperately. This unit should be removed from rental pool.Â
Worst management.. we rented a house in sea pines with a screened in porch / pool. The house and screened in Area were full of mosquitoes.. a house full of people with young kids (one a newborn) getting bites while sleeping and killing multiple mosquitoes inside the noise was upsetting and not acceptable ... management had an attitude and placed the blame back on us (he asked us “are you wearing bug spray?”Inside we shouldn’t have to wear bug spray). Lack of empathy and customer service by this management team...Â
On top of Vacasa's bogus email, the general manager at North Shore Place was just as disregarding as Vacasa. He would in no way try to make it right for us, just a very callused "sorry you feel that way" attitude. Beware of booking with places like this who set you up to only let you down big time with bogus emails they cannot support. Once you pay, it is just too bad! RENTER BEWARE We arrived February 23 2019 with our pup after 10 hours of driving on the road to find the 2 end units on the far side of our block were destroyed in a fire Nov 7 2018. Noting plastic tarps on our roof, we inspected the property only to find there was a large spot of water damage on the master bedroom ceiling. At time of booking Oct '18 I stated I don't like surprises and I trust the home is as represented in the pictures. OUR ISSUES: No one told us and they should have. Would not honor "slashed prices" special on their own website. The customer service representative that called me and MADE me cancel my reservation was EXTREMELY RUDE and unprofessional! Made it sound like i was my fault, that i should have known that rate was not correct. Yet they advertised it under their specials tab!Â
