Whole experience was a hassle. Had to go to a separate office to pick up an "information packet" before check-in (which felt unnecessary). Checkout was early at 10am and they wouldn’t let us adjust it. The home lacked basic necessities like hand soap. We even had to jump through extra hoops to get on the Wi-Fi by using voice activation on the TV remote to access the network and password (because writing that info out in the information packet would’ve been too easy I guess). Please do not rent with these people. We entrusted our home to them to rent out and they have failed us miserably. They missed cleans several times this summer; and lastly they are two months late in sending us net revenue.
I hate that I have to give them at least 1 star. OMG! Worst experience ever! DO NOT RENT UNIT 903 at Brandywine house in Sea Colony Delaware. And stay away from all properties managed by VACASA. If you're an owner and you pay VACASA to manage your property, they're doing an awful job and you're probably paying too much. Take your money somewhere else but first check on your place. Planned a Labor Day weekend stay at 116 Oakwood St in Bethany through Vacasa. Looked like a great home and rental process was smooth…. Until TODAY 3 days before our trip I receive this message from Vacasa! Trip cancelled, no house in a comparable location (ocean block) and most places even outside of Vacasa are rented already! Incredible disappointing when we had people coming from out of state for this trip! How do you run a business like this???
Our condo was supposed to be ready no later than 4 pm. When we walked into our condo at 4 it was still dirty with dirty towels and sheets on the floor. Called Vacasa and was told it would be ready within the hour and we would receive a call when completed. By 530 it was still not completed as we walked up to check and it is now 7pm and we have received no update. Having 2 small children this was not a relaxing way to start off vacation. Will do everything in our power to not rent from them again.
