I am not one to write negative reviews, but unfortunately I had a disappointing experience with this practice. Expectations were not clearly communicated, and when I tried to follow up, I was left without support.
I finally worked up the courage to find a new psychiatrist after years without, due to a terrible experience with another local provider. Danielle was immediately welcoming, warm, and validating. Where my last psychiatrist would only allow session time completing assessments and answering “yes or no” to her questions, Danielle gave the the space to talk about my symptoms and how they’ve impacted me throughout my life. I had a horrible experience with Danielle. Although it started out great, it ended poorly when she reacted defensively to a request I had. She was offended and acted very inappropriately dropping our family as patients, all because she was angry with the way I worded a conversation. She is triggering, unprofessional and should not be working with people who have MH concerns. After working with her, I could clearly see her own mental health struggles and I should never have seen that as her patient.
