I've attended PSA before in Phoenix and Tempe. Both were fantastic experiences. As soon as I discovered there was one in Tucson, I ran to my Mental Health Therapist for a referral. I am grateful for Frank Villa who took the time and effort to get to know me and open opportunities to express myself through Art. Although I have not practiced in their studio yet, I have gotten back to sketching freestyle one bus ride at a time. Today, a Veterano Viejito looked at me after a quiet long ride right before he walked out, and said Thank You 🙏🏽 Ese tipo de comentarios y experiencias llegan muy adentro más allá del corazón! I love being part of the studio. The mediums include Watercolor, Acrylic, Pastels, Pottery, Jewelry Making, Mosaics, and more. The atmosphere is relaxing, the staff is very in tune with the therapy needed for each individual. Here are some of my creations.
I love it here. There is so many different types of art you can do. I work on jewelry, Fridays with Nasara she is great to work with super nice and the person in charge is awesome her name is Cat. There are many different people that work with you on art and all of them are wonderful. They have a great staff. For art we work on Mosaic, painting pictures, jewelry, and working with clay is just a few of the art projects we do here. Your pictures can be put up for sale if you'd like.
