They sell your info just to make a extra buck. The mortgage process is ok. It’s fast so they lose paperwork that you need to resend. The customer service is at first to make a sale and then once you have no choice (one you sign the paperwork and start the process) is rude. You learn a lot buying a first home and never again when I buy again.
was recommended to use James Capra broker( works for RH funding) on my purchase of the 405k house in NJ by real estate agent and regret following an advise. First I was offered 3.875 rate and it wasn’t locked ( banks can lock right away for some reason James can’t), then my rate went up to 4.3% so I went to bank where they gave me 4! I showed it to broker and he lowered but didn’t match the bank offer! Then bank lowered it to 3.875 to get my business and I had to go back to broker to show it and the best he could do was 4!
