I have been living in 1717 for over the past 3 years. I have never lived in an apartment before. Everything from me touring the facility (I was out of town), they took me on a video tour and then I came in a week later to physically see the property. Casey the building manager is a gem! He is money in the bank. If he says something will be done it is. My 1 bedroom is huge, TONS of closet space, top notch amenities and a partial view of the lake. Amazing Apartment, Amazing Location! I have lived here for 6 months and cannot say enough about how incredible my experience has been. My suite is beautiful with large windows in the living room overlooking the city and Lake Erie allowing for breathtaking sunrise and sunset views. My bedroom fits a king bed and my walk in closet is large enough for a dresser and a desk. The in unit washer & dryer is extremely convenient. Roach Problem If you do your research on K&D leasing, you will run away from ever signing a lease with them. They don't tell you the truth about the countless roaches they make the renters deal with. You'll still have to to pay off the balance after breaking your lease to get away from the roaches. If bugs don't freak you out then this place will be perfect for you, because this place is full of them.

Great Apartment. Great Location. Minor Inconveniences I have lived here for 9 months ad have had a very positive experience overall. I have my disagreements with management every now and again, but overall they are as accommodating as they are empowered to be by the corporate office. Security is friendly and helpful in managing packages, dry-cleaning, and general inquiries as they can. Look anywhere else The views are nice, but it ends there. Shoddy materials, shoddy work, endless noise, horrible staff, really everything that affects your day to day is so poorly done, I regret the 12 months I have to spend here endlessly. You can hear noises as soft as a phone conversation from neighbors, and god help you if someone has company over. Its shame as the location and look were promising, but this place is horribly disappointing.

Better options in downtown........ Its a very nice looking apartment from Outside but not the best place to Live.property management not very helpful with problems. It took More when one week to get a new waterfilter for the refrigerator .Thin walls.can hear the neighbours music all The time . I have lived at 1717 for over a year (yes that means I re-signed a lease despite all of the problems I am about to list, but I only resigned because the price and location is right and I didn't want to have to deal with the hassle of moving). 1. The sum is better than the parts Overall, living at 1717 is a positive experience. The views are amazing with huge windows in the living room, the design is modern, and you are downtown near countless things to do and places to go. There is even a deli in the lobby, and parking is attached to the building. The use of space is interesting as you have a unnecessarily huge bathroom space and massive walk in closet at the cost of living room space.
